Friday Feathers
I'm beginning to ponder the idea that this blog should have a different name, like The Feathered Ones instead of Dusting My Brain. I've not been at a loss for words but I suppose I've been at a loss for blog posting. But enough about that. Let's just move on to this week's featured feathered one.
The Dark-eyed Junco is a bird I've featured previously in this space. The difference is that I've not published this particular photo, which isn't a WOW! but more of a yeah, I like the colors and the fact that the bird is looking at me image.
By the way, most of the photos in Friday Feathers can be easily accessed via the Friday Feathers archives. In addition to that, I've set up a single page photo collection from the 2006 (when I started doing this feature) and 2007 posts (photos only.) If you're so inclined, I'm interested in getting your feedback. Which feathered photo is your favorite and why? :-)

Looking at them all together like this (on the 2006) page, you've got some absolutely stunning images. A calendar? Notebooks? Puzzles? You really should consider marketing them.
Favorite: couldn't decide. Almost voted for that vulture staring at me via you and your lens.

I voted for you in the Bloggies re: your photography - I hope you get short-listed. I'll have to spend all of this weekend looking at your photos now, Petal, but I do like the one that you have put up above - what a stark contrast the yellow is to the grey!

Susan - I did a calendar the year before last and gave it to friends/family. Production-wise, it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted and wasn't exactly inexpensive to produce. I also went the print-it-myself route, and though that isn't difficult to do, it drained the ink cartridges of my photo printer. The ink is pricey too, and I've yet to find a less expensive way to produce a calendar and therefore didn't do another one for '07.
Zoe - are you saying you nominated me? If so, that's truly kind of you and thanks!
