Friday Feathers
The Great Egret was hunted to near extinction in the 1800s and early 1900s for its long white plumage.
I love photographing this bird, whether it's in flight or perched, as it was on the day I captured this image.

I've been meaning to ask....do you wear camouflage clothing to get close enough to take bird pictures?

Thanks Joost! :-)
RonW: No camouflage attire necessary. I get as close as I can (without scaring the birds away) but this is a huge help:

Incidentally, you may want to think about a Ghillie/yowie suit... for those fashionable occasions out with the birds :)
