The Quiet Ones
While pondering life as I tend to do, I was thinking (always a dangerous thing) about some of you who have been particularly quiet. Not quiet with blogging necessarily, just kind of quiet, and that had me thinking (always a dangerous thing - oh, I wrote that already) some more. For instance, Al at Fulton Chain hasn't popped 'round these parts in a long, long time. Sure we exchange the occasional email, but ever since he moved further upstate New York he's been MIA. Makes you wonder what he's been up to...
Then there's Nicholas at taliesin's log who's been busy writing about women in music and so on. Not that he's commented ALL that much here, but still, at least a snarky email or something would be nice... *wink*wink*
And hey, how about Chubsy-Wubsy, who hasn't commented here in like, 3 years? :-) I'm not going to say more about that particular person but will just let it float here... it's a brain fart or something.
As for the rest of you, my Frappr Map is looking pretty pathetic right now and it's not as if you don't know how to add yourself to it. So go do it! It's March 1 and you want to blow sunshine my way, I know you do!

I'm here, just keeping to myself a bit since I tend to rant once I get started. However, I have tried to get on your map but got confused.

Susan! Thanks for stopping by! Here's some help with the map. Click on the my Frappr Map link in my post. Once the page finishes loading, look on the right side, where you'll see 'Add Yourself to this Map' -- type in your name, email address and zip code, then select your pin (Gals)
add a message if you want (Shoutouts) then click the button "Add Me" ... that's all you need to do! :-)

I tried to sign up but all I get is the 'waiting for frappr' message. Will have to try again later.
I can't speak for anyone else, but when I'm silent either I'm off blogs completely or I'm just not in the mood for something in particular. For instance, if someone tends to post about flowers all the time and at the moment I'm into TV I stay away until I get back in the mood to read about flowers again.
More than anything it's just that I'm not feeling all bloggy at all.

We added ourselves. Now we notice we're all alone in the UK on your map.
*cries*

P&T - you may be alone right now but keep in mind you're the FIRST!
Kat - oh, I get quiet also that way but that's not exactly what I meant... :-)

Okay, I signed up on your map, using my sexy 70s pic.

I've been too busy pondering (dangerously) about your "music" and that of a few others friends to bother you with even the snarkiest of e-mails.
If that alarms you, hard luck, darling. People will soon know what I mean because if you still believe my place is merely about women who perform music with instrument, you've got another think coming.
Meanwhile, you'll have to settle for an trans-Atlantic OxO smacker. All right?

Nicholas - you know I so adore you when you're snarky like that. My apologies for the error in writing women IN music when of course what I meant was women AND music. I noticed you didn't put yourself on my map. Pfft.
Paul - thank u :-) LOVED the pic.

Well, whadda ya know? I went to add myself and there I was already. I guess the page was just taking it's sweet time yesterday or something.

Oh go on then, I've pinned meself to your map.
Now that I think about it, I set up a frappr map late last year but I can't for the life of me find my login details and which of my fiendishly indecipherable passwords I used. I need a secretary ;-)
