know something....we don't need more gremmies (novices) in da water. It's too overcrowded as it is over here. That said, there are surf spots around for beginners like there are less difficult sky slopes intended for beginners. Safety is the main issue. And Cindy, there's surfergirls in the water who look even better than you do in a bikini, but if you ever nick their surfboards, the language and the vehemence that they use to berate you with, does more damage to your ears than the ding that you put on the girls' surfboards. ya have been forewarned : )

hehehe. Now how could you possibly know what I look like in a bikini? Besides, I don't scare that easily. My former s/o was an ocean surfer, 2 dear friends of mine are (one in Hawaii, the other here in NY) and I've got a bunch of other folks I know who surf. I think I've been well schooled in surfing 101 by the lot of them.

Again... I'm thinking of champagne glasses...
