Shiver Me Timbers, it's 70 Degrees
RonW at Hotel Waikiki writes of shivering at 70 degrees fahrenheit in Hawaii. I wonder if Ron's ever stepped foot out of Hawaii... not that I'd blame him if he hasn't -- Hawaii is indeed beautiful and the climate usually perfection. However, us Nor'easters surely get a few chuckles over a 70 degrees complaint. :-)

70? I assume 70F. That ain't nothing. Try 40C (110F).... in the shade.... with the flies....
Oh when your steaks are buring fiercly,
And the smoke gets in your eyes,
Your snags all taste like fried toothpaste,
And your mouth is full of flies,
It's a national institution,
It's Australian through and through,
Some come on mate,
Grab a plate,
Let's have a barbeque....
