Tropically Depressed Cindy...
Update #2:
A friend just sent this to me. Too funny. Thanks, you know who you are. :-)
- Crews get ready for Tropical Storm Cindy (do you have roadies in your life?)
- Oil Prices Edge Up As Tropical Storm Cindy Moves In (especially once you get the air conditioner installed)
- Coast Residents Clean Up After Cindy (You strike me as someone who picks up after herself...)
- Tropical Storm Cindy cancels contraflow exercise (I thought that Pilates was the new happening thing)
- Cindy Losing Strength (I'm concerned; are you getting enough Iron?)
- Tropical Storm Cindy Explodes In Strength Hours To Landfall (I guess I have nothing to worry about)
- Cindy leaves 250,000 without power in Louisiana (and one in Milwaukee...)
- Cindy Dumps And Runs On Gulf Coast (Will our hearts all be broken?)
- Cindy pelts La.; Dennis rumbling ( A new guy? You should at least give him a sandwich)
- Tropical Storm Cindy Comes Ashore; Dennis Strengthens (Good, you fed him...)
- Tropical Storm Cindy Likes Cajun (At least I know where to take you for dinner next time...)
- Cindy lashes coast (You New York gals have no place for them L.A. types, do you?)
Update #1: See, I told ya. Tropical Depression CINDY Forecast/Advisory
"Our main concern with Cindy is that she'll come along the coastline, like it here, and stay awhile. We like tourism, we know people enjoy it here, but in Cindy's case, we hope she just keeps on going.''
Pfft. I'm not so interested in the South. ;-)

July 5
... yes it's true, I've worked myself into a frothy lather and am blasting my way through the Gulf of Mexico. Watch out, I'm a comin'!!! (Chances are the tropical storm will grow tired and bored and fizzle out, as always.)

I've simply taken to referring to her as "Tropical Storm Squip".
Even more amusing now that I know I'm far from the only one making the reference.

Very, very funny.
BTW, I was fiddling with your feeds (I know what's wrong, now I just have to figure out how to fix it) and couldn't resist fixing the list formatting.
