Blogger Boobie-Thon
Bloggers Robyn and Lisa have teamed up to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation via the third annual Blogger Boobie-Thon, scheduled for October 1-10. (Additional information can be found here.)
We're coming up fast on Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) and for the third year in a row we're going to try to raise a bucketload of money for the Komen Foundation. That's right, The BoobieThon is getting in gear for another year. This year the event will be entirely focused on raising money for Komen and there have been a few necessary changes. Robyn has a greater workload personally since this event's early beginnings, and she just isn't able to keep up all alone. I offered to help, and I was thrilled that she accepted my offer. I am SO incredibly proud to be associated with such a wonderful event to raise not only awareness but funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for the third year in a row.
As in years past, you can submit your rack shots for posting on the BoobieThon website. (Pictures may also be sent to boobiethon@tampatantrum.com if you encounter problems with the main email address.) As was the case last year, both gals and guys are welcome to send in their pictures, but only appropriately covered boobies will appear on the main page. More information will be coming on that soon. The website will be unveiled on October 1, and the BoobieThon is slated to run through October 10, so send us your pics soon!
Above all, this should be fun and profitable, because it's for a very good cause. It's all about boobie health, folks. We've all got 'em, so let's take good care of them. Remember your self-exam, see your doctor regularly, and let's help save the boobies!
