No, no and no. :-) I just listed them to see if anyone caught the fact that the convention and Burning Man are happening at the same time. :-)

oh, believe me, some of my coworkers regularly go to burning man and the timing was an interesting topic of discussion .. I told them that their exhibit this year should be a republican "register to vote" booth with no volunteers .. just a camera
to display the reactions... it pays to be within (reasonable) driving distance I suppose.

I don't know but I suspect that Burning Man is a hell of a lot more fun.

Kat - I'd have to agree that Burning Man would be the more interesting, though the Jazz festival sounds cool also. Thankfully I don't live anywhere near the area where the convention is taking place, therefore that makes me 'non-convention' girl. :-)
