Here, Have a Cocktail
Welcome to my Tuesday brunch. Here, help yourself to a glass of Merlot, a can of beer, soda or juice. While you're busy moseying 'round these parts, feel free to indulge in some grapes, seductively offered on sterling silver platters by my houseboy and housegirl.
For your appetizer today, I've decided on slivers of fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese imported from Italy. Lunch will offer up the choice of barbeque (for those who go by the nickname of 'bubba') ribs, chicken and coleslaw imported fresh from Rudy's in Austin, Texas, hamburgers smaller than the size of your hand, or pizza from the local pizza joint. I suppose I could have prepared some broiled salmon, but really. I do have other things to do these days, like getting my hair cut and going for a manicure and pedicure. Then there's the massage... I digress.
For the ladies, a lusciously large fresh salad with tiny morsels of chicken should satisfy your hunger. We'll finish it all off with a dessert selection of fresh berries with a homemade whipped cream topping, gelato or creme brulee'.
Don't rush off after dessert though. There's more wine and beer and non-alcoholic beverages to inhale, and both Zoe and Kat have promised to do a fan dance for the guests. ;-)

Mmmmmmmm...mozzarella and tomatoes--YUM!
I had a super-uber-bumper-crop of wolf-apples this year, with some of the best I've ever tasted. I'd tear through several of the in a day, including making salads of nothing but tomato wedges and chunks of mozzarella cheese marinated in homemade vinaigrette. Sometimes I'd toss in some artichoke hearts too. Pure heaven!

I'm a huge fan of fan dances.
What's Rudy's? Is it good?

This looks fantastic! It's fan dance worthy, really. Just pour the wine first, please and thank you. :-)

Woo! A fan dance, performed by REAL
women...! This is my kind of shindig!

Hi There, Thanks for the invite ... and welcome back - missed you! Sorry about all the hosting troubles - hope now all you have to worry about is actually writing the posts - not all the other stuff.

Denita - sounds yummy. You can supply them for the next brunch :-)
Paul - Rudy's Barbeque is in Texas -- the one I went to is located in Austin, but here'a link to the web site: http://www.rudys.com/index.html
Kat - how many glasses of wine did you have today? You even spelled 'squipper' wrong on your blog, you lush booby. ;-)
Pisser - I think you were in the bathroom while Kat and Zoe performed. Oh well. Ya snooze, ya lose!
Wendy - thank you. We have Al from Fulton Chain to thank PROFUSELY for rescuing me from further frustration and despair.

Hmmm. When the names were hidden in that fan dance I was getting worried. What is a fan dance anyway? I guess if it is two real ladies like Zoe and Kat then it will be alright. Did you want me to bring some kangaroo steaks?

Hmmm. The names were hidden because the individual archive entries (what you get when you visit via the RSS feeds) have a black background. Hence the black (instead of grey) text is invisible unless you highlight it. I can see the names OK on the main page....
