It does sound like "come up and see my etchings...."
I can still remember one of those instant silences during a staff meeting at a pathology lab when one (male) lab tech said to another (female) lab tech - "you should see the size of my cross-section" (referring to the incredible thin slices taken from diseased tissue for study).
