Color to Black and White
Each time I use Photoshop I learn something else about it, some new way of altering images. In this example, I took a color photo and changed it to black and white. As mentioned previously, I'd encountered difficulty getting the blacks to be as deep as I wanted and the whites to appear brighter. Click on each image to enlarge.
I like the black and white effect for this image. It gives the fence an eery, spooky look.

Rob - No I didn't - am still a rookie when it comes to using photoshop -- I'll have to try that next and thanks for the suggestion.
Ted - thanks!
Daisy - no eyes in the trees.
Oz - thanks (but Al's photos are still grand.)

Marcus - how lovely of you to stop by and sprinkle fairy dust on me. I'll make a note of your suggestions. As for the iSight, well, er, uhm... yeah. That's what I meant to say. :-)
