Thank you - I appreciate that although I think my accent is more hickish than 'lovely southern belle' but I'm all for taking compliments wherever I can get them!

I've told Kat before she would do well in radio. Someone else encourage her to take her clips, make a tape and send them to local radio stations, cuz she won't listen to me.

Casey, everyone at our local radio stations sounds just like me... or close enough. Maybe one of these days I'll come up with something. Who knows?

Hey great stories and lovely accent. I had not trouble understanding it (despite having an "Australian ear") - I think a radio career is a definite option....

I fact I am surprised that Kat wasn't able to charm some weak male passerby to clean up the car after the dog....

Now if we could only get the Aussie and Ms. Belgium to to do an audio post ...

After hearing the dulcet tone of Kat (who I insulted by accident the other day), I would be too embarrassed to record anything :-) What if I just get Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) to say something on my behalf?

Aussie accents are fab - nothing to be embarrassed about there.

i can't because i have a weird accent. the first time i spoke to Q he thought i was australian, then german, then dutch (eh ?) and finally settled on english. ask peter at naked blog. he'll tell you as i finally got to speak to him yesterday - it was like having phone sex for free. wow.
