What Contest ...
... would you have the chance of winning?
For me, I'd have to go with name that tune. I've surprised myself more than once with guessing song titles and artists just by hearing the first few notes. It's just one of those weird quirky things I seem to be good at.
So that's mine. What about you? What contest would you have the chance of winning?

Maybe it's because ' Troy ' has just come to town as well to as a Cannes Film Festival (Fr and Eng) , which sounds particularly promising with Tarantino for president -- and a number of his compatriots set to boycott this year's show if one's to believe w [Read More]

More to the point in my mind, for today at least, is: "In what contest would you make me the prize?"
But to be serious for a moment, since you've already pinched a relatively easy one, maybe third place in the 'Human search engine awards'.

Nick! Lovely to see you here!
Your response left me smiling as you're so clever. I chuckled at your self-appointed third place in the 'human search engine awards.'

I used to kick butt on Rock 'n Roll Jeopardy (online). They've done away with it, which was a shame because I LOVED playing that one.
I don't really know what other contest I could do. Maybe a little trivia?

cindy - you're pretty good at 'hunt the underwear' ;)

Zoe - that's true, but the question is what contest would YOU have the chance of winning...
Oz - is that a complaint? I can't help it if you include 'comment leaders stats' on your blog. :-)
Kat - yeah, I could see you winning R&R jeopardy. I think you'd win for best audio posts :-)

I dunno about clever (blush), but I probably drop by more often than you'd imagine.
It's not just what you write, which is ever readable, but some of the places you take us to... ;)

I'd be a "name that tune" contestant as well. However, my area of study would be the 70's through the 90's. Usually I can name a tune in two notes, citing song title, group, album title, year of release and even side of LP (or in recent years, CD track). It pisses my friends off to no end. ;-)

I kick ass at every jeopardy game ever invented, I am great at trivia. I don't know how or why. But if there were a comic book trivia game, I would destroy any and all competition.

A complaint? Me? Never!
I appreciate every one of my three regular visitors :-) I nearly frightened one of them away last week but I apologised profusely and I have my fingers crossed that it worked :-)
Please come by and comment again, any time you like....
I could zero the stats if you like?
Actually that was the only competition I figured that I could win - but in hindsight I can code perl pretty good (never won an obfuscated prize but I keep trying). I also bet I weigh more than any other reader ....

I'd like to nominate myself as champion of the "101 Ways To Hate Bush" contest.
I can also cross my eyes then move one eye back to middle position. Very popular with the under fives.

Nick - now I'm blushing.
Casey - albums also? Geez I'm not THAT good!
Paul - comic books? Well there's one I never thought of.
Oz - stop scaring your readers! ;-)
Daisy - I think you'd have lots of competition in the '100 Ways to Hate Bush' contest. :-)
