They have a special day for this. I thought *every* day was no-pants day. I'm not wearing any pants right now... I'm wearing a mumu. A pink one. I find it to be very comfortable and think the Scots where on to something with that whole kilt thing.

If you're smart Al, you'll leave the pink mumu home before you travel to NYC. However, if you choose to ignore my suggestion, I'll have no choice but to photograph you in it.
p.s. maybe you're part Hawaiian.

Could be fun in Britain.
You see what you call pants we call trousers.
Pants are what you wear underneath them.
I'm looking forward to it.

Waaall, shucks. I's was so lookin' forward to the visiting the big city in my mumu -- dang, I hear they gots skyscrapers and everythang.
Anyway, I've found wearing a dress in lower Manhattan an excellent way to make new and interesting friends. I'm sure it will go over particularly well with the grand jury and federal prosecutors.

BykerSink - since I'm culturally sensitive, give me a minute and
I'll add another graphic to the post. Thanks for the heads up
about the trousers/pants thing - each time I see it I think "oh right, UNDER pants day." ;-)
Al - I know you're really a big city guy just living in the country. You can take the guy out of the city, but ya can't take the city outta the guy.

I suppose I will have to purchase a kilt. I forget what my family tartan pattern looks like, but I suppose I do a google search on it. ;)

I never wear pants. My natural soft gray fur covers everything quite nicely.

My link in the preceding post is incorrect.

Do shorts count as no pants? How about PJs? Because honestly, I don't think anyone wants to see me pantless. And I wouldnt' leave the house if I weren't wearing underpants.

Hi Paul! How are you? Shorts are not the same thing as pants/trousers. You'd be safe wearing them, plus your tighty whities -- I mean, your superman boxers!
;-)

Given that we don't celebrate that particular day here, I could just wear shorts or a kilt BUT should I wear them on the Friday (the day before you guys) or on the Saturday (which is Friday there). Lot less explanations on the Saturday......

Oz, I'm confused. I know you wear a kilt on special occasions (did you wear it on your birthday?) but I don't get the Friday/Saturday thingie part of it.

if i can't wear trousers then i may well be done for indecent exposure.

That would be awesome to wear my superman boxers to work.

Confusing reference was to the time zone thing. It is almost lunchtime Friday as I write this but it is still Thursday in the US.
I was wondering if I could celebrate pants-less day on Saturday (it would still be Friday in the US)....
